Darryl Eastgate - Director
Up until 31 March 2006 Darryl was a shareholder and director of North South Finance Limited.
Darryl, his wife Karen and their two children live on a 62 acre lifestyle block in Clevedon.
Darryl has over 20 years banking and finance experience the last two of which were spent running his own property finance company, Eastgate Mortgages.
The opportunity to once again work with Brett Lornie in order to establish a property finance company on a grander scale appeals to Darryl.
Prior to North South Finance Darryl was a Property Finance Manager with ASB Bank. In 1999 Darryl completed a MBA at Canterbury University. The last component of the MBA required the completion of a project within the commercial arena. The project Darryl instigated undertook a feasibility study to consider the viability of establishing a specialist property finance unit within ASB Bank. The ASB Property Finance Unit was subseq-uently established and continues to operate successfully today.
Prior to undertaking the MBA Darryl was Senior Manager Business Banking with Countrywide Bank. Darryl was appointed to this role in 1998 to undertake the establishment of a new Business Banking Centre on the North Shore. Prior to this appointment Darryl's role was as a Property and Development Finance Manager with Countrywide's Business Banking Division.
Before joining Countrywide Bank Darryl was employed by ANZ Bank for eleven years in various commercial and consumer lending roles.
